The Uniting Church affirms that every member of the Church is engaged to confess the faith of Christ crucified and to be his faithful servant. It acknowledges with thanksgiving that the one Spirit has endowed the members of Christ’s Church with a diversity of gifts, and that there is no gift without its corresponding service: all ministries have a part in the ministry of Christ.
Basis of Union – Gifts and Ministries
Our North Ryde Uniting Church members, all have a part to play in bringing about the story of God within the context of North Ryde, in serving and being with one another, and in revealing God in our changing world. We seek to lead, thrive, wonder and pick each other up along the way.
There are members of our congregation who are elected and called to different ministries not limited to our church council. That might be from welcoming on Sunday, through to being an elder, or helping with flowers or the church gardens. If you would like to seek further information about what your part might be in this please don’t hesitate to contact our Administration Assistant, David on 02 9888 9978 or admin@nrcc.unitingchurch.org.au.
